Sherwood School District Bond Information...
Finally got the details on the Sherwood bond measure that is included on our property tax bill. Many thanks to Mark Richards for digging up this information.

The Sherwood School District bond that appears on our (Victoria Woods homeowners) property taxes is a 18 year bond, ending in 2012.

It was approved in 1994 and paid for the following.

1) Major High School remodel - Performing arts center, Science wing, Math wing

2) Archer Glenn Elementary school - new school

3) Middle School - library

4) Hopkins Elementary- minor remodel, roof repair

In tax year 2002 alone, VW homeowners paid over $40,000 to this bond and didn't have any students regularly attending any of the district's facilities.
